Anthony Atanasio first signed with IDENTITY in 2003 after he was featured in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes. It was in France that his professional commercial career took off and his meteoric rise through the industry quickly had him directing spots for brands such as Peugeot, Gas de France, Eurovia, and Club Med. More acclaim soon followed for Atanasio when in 2004 he won a Clio for Best Directing, as well as Gold, and Best of Show at the Addy Awards for his Nintendo spot, School's Out. This success quickly led to UK representation and several other noteworthy pieces including Audi Illusion through BBH London, Nike Breakaway, Infiniti The New FX, Toyota Aygo, and AMEX Ken Watanabe recently filmed in Kyoto, Japan. Anthony recently directed the Levis campaign out of BBH London, continuing to work very closely with long time partner and Art Director, Valerie Martinez. Following the cinematic success of Nintendo on American screens the creative duo is currently being considered for feature scripts through the William Morris Agency. The two are also in the process of publishing a book of their photographic works to be released later this year.
